TV to go.

Source: NYT.

One of the benefits to broadcasters in sending out their signals digitally is that as the TV data stream is compressed, they can fit several channels in the space of one analog feed.
Several companies have come up with a way to use that additional capacity, by repurposing it as mobile services.
LG has shown a version of the technology that they call M.P.H., for Mobile, Pedestrian, and Handheld. For a $125,000 investment, broadcasters will be able to send programs that can be picked up by cell phones, laptops, G.P.S. units and other mobile devices. Unlike traditional digital transmissions that can quickly disappear if your antenna is misaligned, M.P.H. feeds will stay rock steady even as you walk down the street or drive in a car.
